14 March Medicine Day message from Minister Koca
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca stated that 505 health workers lost their lives in the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, and stated that this March 14 Medicine Day is the day of healing.
Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared a message on the occasion of the Medicine Day and stated that 505 health workers lost their lives in the earthquake.
Sharing on his social media account about March 14 Medicine Day, Koca used the following statements:
“There is no ‘Medical ‘Holiday’ on March 14. We mourn. 505 of our healthcare workers living in the earthquake region lost their lives in the disaster. Our total loss of life is over 48 thousand. Our condolences. May God have mercy on us. March 14 is the day to heal wounds together with our people this year.”
