100 Million Dollars Investment From Amazon To Turkey

Amazon, which is preparing to establish its first logistics base in Turkey, shared the details of its investment plans in Turkey. Accordingly, Amazon expects to create more than 1000 jobs in a year with its first logistics base in Turkey, which it aims to open in Istanbul in the last quarter of this year.

While an investment of over $100 million is planned for the new logistics base to be established, it is aimed to meet the recently increasing customer demand.

Amazon.com.tr, which was put into service in Turkey in 2018, has provided millions of products to its customers with affordable prices and fast delivery options since its establishment and has created employment for more than 500 people to date.

Logistics Base To Be Established In Tuzla

Amazon will start the recruitment processes for the center functions such as engineering, human resources, accounting, operations and information processing (IT) for the new FBA Base to be established in Tuzla, Istanbul, while recruitment for customer service and logistics teams will begin in the coming months. Amazon will continue to work with partners that already provide delivery services.

More than half of the products sold on the Amazon marketplace worldwide are sold by SMEs. Amazon has provided over 250 new services and applications with an investment of more than $18 billion to increase the efficiency and profitability of its affiliates.
