Windows 11 Finally Got The Expected Feature

With the latest update, Microsoft has included in Windows 11 the widget system that allows you to monitor CPU and GPU.

One of the most important things for gamers and professionals is the health of their computers. While Windows today provides a certain amount of support for monitoring your hardware’s heat level and activities, the real big help can be obtained through extra programs. However, with the new update, you will be able to see the status of the hardware with the Windows widget system.

Microsoft’s latest update adds a widget system to Windows 11 that lets you see CPU and GPU status. So, how to enable these widgets?

How to Use Windows CPU Widget

We were already able to view CPU and GPU data via Windows Task Manager. However, the new plugin gives users much faster access to data.

To activate the widget system, you need to download the Dev Home Preview app from the Microsoft Store. Then, by pressing the Windows+W key combination, you can add widgets by clicking the “+” icon in the tab that opens, and if you want, you can control it by pressing the same key combination.

However, it is worth noting that this feature is currently in the testing phase and you may encounter bugs. We recommend using extra apps or Windwos Task Manager to monitor your hardware until the widget system exits the preview stage.
