Global Firepower, which collects international military power data based in the United States, compiled the countries with the highest military power in 2023. Compared to 2022, Turkey rose 2 places and took the 11th place.
The US-based company Global Firepower, which publishes a global power ranking by closely scrutinizing the military forces of the world’s states every year, shared the military power ranking of 2023.
A total of 145 countries were included in the “World’s Most Powerful Armies” list of Global Firepower.
In the ranking, the features of the country’s armies such as technological development, human power, staying long in the field and mobility were taken into account.
Turkey Raised 2 Places in the List
Turkey, which was in 13th place last year, rose 2 places this year to 11th place. The top three are the USA, Russia and China.
Greece Dropped 3 Places
Ukraine, which is at war with Russia, was ranked 22nd last year and ranked 15th this year. Greece, on the other hand, dropped 3 places to 30th this year, while it was in the 27th place last year.
