Ukrainian mother and daughter converted to Islam
Ukrainian citizen Natalia and her daughter Yulia took the names “Ayşe” and “Aliya” as Muslims after the conversion ceremony in Manisa Yunusemre District Mufti.
New ones joined the Ukrainians who converted to Islam.
A “Conversion Ceremony” was held for Ukrainian citizen Natalia and her daughter Yulia, who applied to the Yunusemre District Mufti, stating that she wanted to become a Muslim.
In the ceremony that started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, District Mufti M. Nedim Bakır gave Natalia and her daughter Yulia basic information about the belief, worship and moral principles of the religion of Islam.
“I pray to Allah Almighty that you will be instrumental in many people’s conversion to Islam”
Mufti Bakir said:
“About a year and a half ago, our brother Anastasia (Safiye) decided to become a Muslim by researching and learning, and we applied to our mufti and carried out the conversion process. As Safiye told her friend Natalia and her daughter Yulia about the religion of Islam and advised them to become Muslims, today Natalia and her daughter “We are witnessing Yulia’s testimony and starting a brand new life. From now on, I pray to Almighty Allah that you, like Safiye, will be instrumental in many people’s conversion to Islam, as an example. May my Lord accept your faith and surrender.”
“We researched the religion of Islam, we decided to become a Muslim”
Natalia and her daughter Yulia said, “We were members of Christianity before. We have been living in Turkey for 4 years. We thank our friend Safiye, she helped us a lot. We researched the religion of Islam and decided to become a Muslim.”
Natalia, who became a Muslim by bringing kalima-i shahada, took the name “Ayşe” and her daughter Yulia took the name “Aliya”. Mufti Bakir congratulated Ayşe and Aliya and presented books from the Presidency of Religious Affairs along with the “Certificate of Conversion”.
