The masked suspect, who entered the market of the fuel station on Çakırlı Street in Musalla Bağları Neighborhood on the night of April 17 disguised as a customer, told the employee that he wanted to buy something.
Realizing that the suspect was heading towards the cash register, the market employee tried to intervene. The suspect then pointed the pistol hidden in his pocket at the employee and fled with 600 thousand liras in the cash register.
The Asayish Branch Directorate Extortion Bureau teams, who came to the area upon a tip-off, monitored hundreds of hours of footage from the surrounding security cameras and the City Security Management System (KGYS).
It was determined that the suspect fled on a motorcycle after the extortion incident, left the motorcycle on the side of the road, burned the clothes he was wearing, and then got into a car that came to pick him up.
