Popular chat application WhatsApp has come to the fore again with the ‘Maybe’ feature. WhatsApp, which attracted attention with the update that allows users’ photos to appear in previously created group chats, will now show the names of group participants you do not know.
NOW IT SHOWS AS A NAME NOT A NUMBER
Among the group participants, people who are not registered in your directory have been shown with their numbers so far. But now unregistered contacts will be displayed in message notifications with their account names instead of their numbers.Taking action for unknown numbers, WhatsApp has released a new feature for Android, desktop (web) and iOS users. Unregistered contacts appear as ‘Maybe…(account name)’ in message notifications.
This feature makes it easy for the recipient to understand who the unknown person is without having to save the number as a new contact.
