“Turkey Continues to Increase its Exports”

Stating that they reached the highest export figures of all time in March, Haluk Okutur, Chairman of the Istanbul Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, evaluated Turkey’s grain sector exports. More Than 2 Billion Dollars Made In 3 Months

Evaluating the 3-month exports of the grain industry between January and March, President Haluk Okutur said, “As the grain industry, our exports increased by 40.35 percent and reached $2,832,728 billion. Our industry displayed a very strong export performance compared to last year. As IHBIR, they increase their successful momentum every month. Stating that they have achieved their goals by increasing their growth, Okutur said, “Despite the pandemic and some negative events experienced around the world, we achieved an export of 771,579 million dollars. It increased by 20.03 percent in the period covering January-March. We are continuing our work with great care and attention so that our country can reach the figures it targets.”

Turkey Continues Its Exports!

Evaluating the figures on product and country-based increases, Okutur stated that the highest export is in cocoa products and said, “Our country continues its exports to important markets without slowing down. The highest export is made in March. Compared to the same month of the previous year, our exports to Iraq and Turkey are 28.65 percent. Our exports to Iraq increased by 25.71 percent, our exports to England increased by 34.69 percent, 7.49 percent on basis, and rose to 54,413 million dollars.
