Borsa İstanbul’s announcement regarding the suspension of transactions was published on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
In the statement, “It has been decided to stop the transactions in the Equity Market and Futures and Options Market equity and equity index derivative markets.” statements were included.

Today, Index-Linked Circuit Breaker System operated at 10.12.01 and 10.42.31 hours, respectively, after the decline in the BIST 100 index exceeded the 5 percent and 7 percent limits.
This system was put in place to prevent the investor from incurring any loss.
