Turkish citizen Osman Kizilkaya, who was allegedly discharged from the hospital in Dresden, Germany, due to brain death, was brought to Ankara by ambulance plane at the instruction of President Erdogan. Osman Kizilkaya, who lives in Wiesbaden, Germany, fell ill at home and was transferred to a hospital in Dresden. Allegedly, Kizilkaya was discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for a while without any results. Then, relatives of Kizilkaya asked for help from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca.

The Ministry of Health, which took action immediately, sent an ambulance plane to Germany to bring SVO patient Kizilkaya to Turkey. The fully equipped ambulance plane, which took off from Ankara at 17.20, took Kızılkaya and brought it to Turkey after a journey that took 2 and a half hours. Kizilkaya, who was brought to Ankara Cubuk Aviation Terminal, was taken to Ankara City Hospital by an ambulance that was kept ready here.

Emergency Medicine Specialist on the ambulance plane, Dr. Erhan Er, in a statement to reporters, said that Kızılkaya received treatment in Germany as a result of a clot formed in the cerebral artery. Stating that they brought Kizilkaya to Turkey as a result of the Ministry of Health’s assignment, Er said, “Our journey took about 2 and a half hours and went smoothly.
