The Opening Date of Kagithane-Istanbul Airport Metro Line Has Been Announced

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu announced that the Kağıthane-Istanbul Airport Metro Line, which Istanbul residents have been waiting for a long time, will be put into service on Sunday, January 22. President Erdoğan will also attend the opening ceremony of the metro line. The journey will take 24 minutes.

These lines are; Gayrettepe-Kağıthane-Istanbul Airport Metro line as well as Bakırköy.(IDO)-Bahçelievler-Güngören- Bağcılar Kirazlı Metro line, Halkalı-Başakşehir-Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport Metro line, Başakşehir-Pine and Sakura City Hospital- Kayaşehir Metro Line, Kazlıçeşme – Sirkeci Rail System and Pedestrian Focused New Generation Transportation Project We will increase the rail system network of Istanbul, which is 284.3 kilometers to 380.2 kilometers, by completing the Altunizade – Ferah Mahallesi- Çamlıca Mosque – Bosnia Boulevard Metro Line projects.
