The Number of Tourists Arriving in Antalya by Air Passed 3 Million

According to the latest data from Antalya Governorship Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, the number of tourists visiting the city by air has exceeded 3 million.

In Antalya, which is one of the most important tourism centers of the Mediterranean, the activity in tourism continues to make people smile after the pandemic process. According to the data obtained from the Antalya Governorship Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, the number of tourists who visited the city by air between January 1 and June 12 was 3 million 104 thousand 300.

Annual Increase 227%

In Antalya, which closed the last year with more than 9 million tourists despite the pandemic period, the tourism data of 2022 showed a great increase compared to the period of 1 January-12 June of the previous year. Antalya, which has become the center of attention of European tourists this year, and the number of tourists arriving by air to the city between January 1 and June 12 of 2022 increased by 227% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 3 million 104 thousand 300. In the same period last year, the number of tourists coming to Antalya was recorded as 949 thousand 182 people. In the first 12 days of June, the increase increased by 241% compared to the same period of 2021 and became 688 thousand 993.
