Sultanahmet Square

Sultanahmet is one of the most popular districts of Fatih district, which is known as the historical peninsula of Istanbul, by both local and foreign tourists. It is undoubtedly the most popular neighborhood of Istanbul with its historical texture, architecture, culture and art activities, shopping and entertainment centers and lively streets. It is at the top of the list of places to visit in Istanbul. It is also a popular meeting point. Sultanahmet, which is the administrative and living center of the Ottoman Empire and named after Sultan Ahmet, can also be called the historical heart and center of Istanbul. Sultanamhet is also the first hill of Istanbul with seven hills. Since Sultanahmet Square and its immediate surroundings are an area closed to vehicle traffic, and the places to visit here are very close to each other, you can easily visit every place in Sultanahmet on foot. You can also use the tram if you want to go to Eminönü and Beyazıt sides. Transportation:                                                                           

After crossing the ferry from Kadıköy to Eminönü, you can transfer to the Kabataş-Bağcılar tram. When you get off the tram at the Sultanahmet stop, you can reach the Sultan Ahmet Mosque.

After getting off from Sirkeci stop by using Marmaray from Üsküdar, transfer to Kabataş-Bağcılar tramway. When you get off the tram at the Sultanahmet stop, you can reach the Sultan Ahmet Mosque.

If you come from Büyükçekmece, Esenyurt, Avcılar, Küçükçekmece, Bahçelievler, get off at Cevizlibağ stop by Metrobus and transfer to Kabataş-Bağcılar tramway. When you get off the tram at the Sultanahmet stop, you can reach the Sultan Ahmet Mosque.
