The Faculty of Engineering-Architecture, Medicine and Science and Letters and the University Hospital were separated from Anadolu University and connected to Osmangazi University. The name of Osmangazi University was changed to “Eskisehir Osmangazi University” on 1 July 2005. ESOGU continues its education activities in five campuses, namely Meselik, Bademlik, Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone Campus, Ali Numan Kirac, in the center of Eskisehir and in Sivrihisar, Mahmudiye and Cifteler districts.

Meşelik Campus (the main campus):

Meselik campus is located in Odunpazarı. Eskisehir Osmangazi University main campus is 4 km away from the city center. In the campus, there are canteens, kiosks, bookstore, guest house, indoor swimming pool and staff tavern. social and cultural facilities provide services. Eskisehir Osmangazi University Department of Health, Culture and Sports provides services in the sports facilities to ensure that the university students and staff can do sports in a more regular and healthy environment. Meselik Campus has a sports hall with a capacity of 1100 people where International Basketball, Volleyball and Handball matches can be held.

Accommodation:

There are Dumlupınar and Eskisehir Dormitories attached to the Credit and Dormitories Institution. Yunusemre Dormitory and Cumhuriyet Girls’ Dormitory that are also attached to the same institution are located in different districts of the city and serves to students. In addition, private dormitories and studio-type houses are able to meet the housing needs of Eskisehir Osmangazi University students.

Transportation:

It is possible to reach the city center by municipal buses and minibuses.

Prep. School:

Eskisehir Osmangazi University School of Foreign Languages was established on January 8, 2020. The school measures the foreign language proficiency of the students of the units that carry out education in a foreign language completely or partially (at least 30%) at our university, and provides one-year foreign language preparatory education to students who do not qualify. In addition, foreign language courses are conducted online in units which education is conducted in Turkish but has foreign language courses in the curriculum. The school has English, German and French preparatory programs.

The Library:

Eskisehir Osmangazi University Library was opened in 2004. The library building, with a closed area of 7200 m2, consists of 4 floors, including the basement and the ground floor. The library, which has a seating capacity of 1000, has 14 group study rooms and 7 academic staff study rooms. In the audio-visual section, there are computers with internet access for homework and research purposes, computers for scanning the library catalog and an automatic book lending-return station at the entrance of the library, on the book floors. There is a thriving collection of rare artifacts and a hall that includes lithographs, manuscripts, and rare editions. There is also a private business that provides photocopying and stationery services on the ground floor. Hot-cold beverage and snack vending machines are offered to the readers in the cafeteria in the building.
