Aytepe Campus (The Main Campus):
Aytepe Campus is the main campus of Aydin Adnan Menderes University. The Main Campus was started to be built in Zafer Mahallesi Kepez Area and it was completed. Since its establishment, most faculties and colleges have accepted students within the main campus. Today, the undergraduate and associate degree programs in the central campus are Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Economics, School of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Science and Literature, School of Health, School of Physical Education and Sports, Aydin Vocational School, Faculty of Education.
Transportation:
Transportation in the city is provided by municipal buses (number: 10, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 17). Distance between Adnan Menderes University Aytepe Campus and Aydin city center: 4 kilometers. There is a vehicle every 30 minutes every day of the week.
Accomodation:
The city offers different types of alternatvies for the students. The number of private and state dormitories is gradually increasing in Aydin city center and in the districts where other campuses are located. There are two dormitories belonging to the Credit and Dormitories Institution in Aydin center, and it provides accommodation service to approximately 8000 students in Aydin center, together with the students staying in private dormitories. However, the number of students who choose to rent a furnished flat is quite high. The number and popularity of student apartments are increasing day by day.
Preparatory School:
Preparatory class trainings at Aydin Adnan Menderes University are given in the School of Foreign Languages, which is located on the Aytepe Campus (main campus). It offers three different languages; English, French and Germany. Students find the chance of improving their foreign language skills at the foreign language section of the university.
The Library:
The Library and Documentation Department was established in 1993 by taking over 2214 books of Tourism Management and the Main Library started the activities. Many different types of books are available in the library that students can use. The book collection has been completely transferred to the computer environment. So, students can also can benefits from the books on the digital area, as well. It is possible to access all information about the resources in the library collection via the internet.
