Specimens Collected on Mars

NASA’s Mars explorer Perseverance has successfully completed its mission to collect 10 tubes of samples.

The Perseverance vehicle developed by NASA was launched on July 30, 2020 and landed in the Jezero Crater on the red planet early last year.

Perseverance, which investigates the geological processes on Mars, its habitability, whether there was life on Mars before and biological traces, collects various samples at the same time.

Mission Successfully Completed

NASA’s Mars explorer Perseverance has successfully completed its mission to collect 10 tubes of samples.

In the statements made by NASA, it was announced that the Mars explorer had successfully filled 10 sample tubes containing samples.

The collected samples are expected to reach Earth in 2030 and shed light on possible life on Mars later on.

Samples collected from the “Jezero” crater on Mars will help us understand whether there was once water there.

The Mars rover is required to collect as many rock samples as possible over the next two years and transfer them to the Mars Sample Return mission, which will land on the planet in 2028.
