Samsung Announced: When Will Apple’s First Foldable Device Be Released?

Samsung, a supplier of parts for many of Apple’s devices, has deciphered the company’s plans for the foldable mobile device segment. Here is the date that the executives of the South Korean company put forward.

The Elec website announced that a meeting was held last month between Samsung’s senior executives and suppliers. During the meeting, it is stated that a significant amount of time was devoted to the foldable smartphone strategy.

According to the leaders of the South Korean company, the average annual growth rate for the foldable mobile segment will be 80 percent by 2025. Analysts say this will be due to Apple’s entry into the market, among other factors.

Tablet or Laptop Claim

Samsung’s senior executives suggested that Apple will launch its first foldable mobile device in 2024. The company, which supplies parts for many of Apple’s devices, says that the Cupertino company will first release a foldable tablet or laptop instead of the iPhone.

Company representatives who met with suppliers noted the high consumer interest in foldable smartphones in South Korea. According to a survey by Samsung, 90 percent of foldable device users said their next phone will also have a foldable form factor.
