Russian State Agency: Volunteers from Turkey Came to Zaporizhia to Fight Against Ukraine
Russian media claimed that a group of volunteers from Turkey came to Zaporizhia to participate in a special military operation.
The Russian state agency RIA claimed that volunteers from Turkey started combat training in the ‘Sudoplatov Battalion’ of the Russian army to participate in a special military operation.
Speaking to the agency, the volunteer with the pseudonym Kuzon said, “I came from Turkey with my friends. We are against the Nazis, we know what happened here and what happened in Ukraine. We understand that Russia is not fighting against Ukraine, but against the Nazis in Ukraine.”
One of the volunteers, whose views were included in the news, said that he “studied a university in Moscow for a few years, knew Russian culture well” and made many close friends.
Talking about his war experience, the volunteer explained that he “completed his military service in Turkey, but did not take part in armed conflicts”.
The news included the opinions of many volunteers. Volunteers in the news described their reasons for participating in the war with slogans such as “We are against the Nazis”, “Russia will win this war anyway”.
The volunteers added that they are currently training and trying to get used to the new army standards.
