The developer and publisher of the Resident Evil series, Capcom, announced on its website that the Remake version of Resident Evil 4 sold more than 3 million copies two days after its launch.
Released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC, Resident Evil 4 Remake sold more than 3 million copies worldwide, while the Resident Evil series reached 135 million sales in total.

Orijinal Resident Evil 4, serinin en çok sevilen oyunlarından biridir, ancak bu satış dönüm noktasına ulaşması neredeyse bir yıl sürdü. Oyunun remake versiyonunun ise 2 günde 3 milyon adet satışa ulaşması, Resident Evil’a olan ilginin hiç olmadığı kadar artmasına işarettir.
