Overstaying with Turkish visa

Hello!
I am currently in Turkey (Antalya) and I have 2 more weeks before it comes to 90 days of staying here. I am about to apply for ikamet but i worry if my appointment/randevu will be scheduled for later period and I will overstay my visa. So, in case I overstay while waiting for appointment, will I get any problems? And the second question is – am I allowed to stay in Turkey while waiting for ikamet even if I overstay while waiting?

  Hello,
  As long as the online application is lodged before expiration of visa you are allowed to stay in Turkey legally during the whole application process until receiving residence permit card even if your visa expires in the meantime. You should not leave Turkey during the process, otherwise the application may be cancelled.
