Pitbull Dog Returned In Prisoner Exchange Between Russia and Ukraine

It has been reported that the pitbull dog, which was abducted by Russian soldiers during the prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine on 31 December, was also returned to Ukraine.

Andriy Yermak, Head of the Presidential Office of Ukraine, announced in his post on his Telegram account that a “famous” pitbull dog was returned to Ukraine as part of the prisoner exchange with the Russian side on December 31, 2022.

The dog, taken from Azovstal by Russian soldiers in the early stages of the war, was delivered to the Russian President of Chechnya, Ramazan Kadyrov. As part of the prisoner exchange, 140 Ukrainian and 82 Russian soldiers were released.
