New Search Call from Families with Relatives on Missing Malaysian Flight

The families of those on board the passenger plane that disappeared in 2014, along with 227 passengers and 12 crew members, while on the Kuala Lumpur-Beijing voyage, asked the Malaysian government to authorize Ocean Infinity, a US seafloor exploration firm, to search for the missing plane again.

According to local media reports, the Voice370 group, which consists of the families of those on Malaysian Airlines flight MH370, announced that the company hopes to initiate a new search as soon as possible.

Voice370 urged the Malaysian government to accept any offer from the firm on the condition that payment is made only if the call is successful.

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared after departing from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with its 239 passengers and crew on March 8, 2014, could not be found despite air and sea searches involving many countries.

Searches carried out in an area of 120,000 square kilometers in the Indian Ocean under the leadership of Australia could not find any traces of the missing aircraft, and the searches, which lasted about 3 years, ended at the beginning of 2017.
