More Than 43 Thousand Loss Of Life in Earthquakes
Turkey is trying to heal the wounds of two major earthquake disasters. Turkey was shaken by two major earthquakes that struck Kahramanmaraş on Monday, 6 February.
The first earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 occurred at around 04:17 in Pazarcık district.
After this earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7, another earthquake occurred at 13:24.
The magnitude of the earthquake, the epicenter of which was in the district of Elbistan, was recorded as 7.6.
Earthquake; It caused great destruction in Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis and Malatya.
After the earthquakes centered in Pazarcık and Elbistan districts, 6 thousand 414 aftershocks occurred.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu stated that 43 thousand 556 people lost their lives in the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş.
According to the latest information received, it was stated that a total of 448 thousand 018 earthquake victims were evacuated in the provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ.
