In Antalya, where the air temperature was at seasonal normals last week, the air temperature has reached 33 degrees in the last days. Humidity clouds cover the city, where the humidity has reached up to 85 percent for the last 4 days with the hot weather, especially in the morning. While visibility in the city decreases due to humidity, the Beydaglari, which form the silhouette of the city, are not visible. When viewed from above, the buildings are only seen as silhouettes. In the images shared on social media, it was seen that children playing in the park in Günes Mahallesi of Kepez district were trying to cool off under the water sprayed from the water tanker used by the municipality to irrigate the trees. According to the data of the 4th Regional Directorate of Meteorology, high temperature and humidity are expected to continue throughout the week.

Saying that they expect short-term precipitation in the high parts of the region, Meteorology 4th Regional Deputy Director Hasan Acar said, “As a result of the evaluations, high humidity will continue. The minimum humidity can drop down to 65 percent during the day. It reaches up to 85 percent of the maximum. Temperatures reach up to 33 degrees. In general, precipitation is not expected on the coastline in our region. Those with chronic diseases should be careful when the humidity and temperature are high. “High temperatures and humidity will continue throughout the week,” he said.
