Icmeler Beach

Icmeler is a district of Mugla’s Marmaris district. It is located in Marmaris Bay. Its population is 9,604. Its name comes from the famous and healing drinking water. Icmeler Beach is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Marmaris. Especially, thanks to the accommodation and beach facilities, it is the closest and preferred settlement to Marmaris. Marmaris and Icmeler are actually like inseparable parts. The distance from Icmeler to Marmaris is 8 kilometers and there are minibus services all day long, including at night. There are many luxury hotels, resorts and pensions in Icmeler. It leads the tourism in Marmaris.

Since the cove and its beach are extremely convenient and beautiful, it has become a place where even those who do not stay in Icmeler Beach come here to swim. Domestic and foreign tourists mostly prefer Icmeler to swim. Nature and sea are magnificent in Icmeler. Transportation is provided to Icmeler Beach, located in the southwest of Marmaris, via Cumhuriyet Boulevard in Marmaris district center. Another connection is via Marmaris-Datca Highway. Icmeler is 7 km from Marmaris, 272 km from İzmir, 795 km from Istanbul and 659 km from Ankara.
