In the 1932s, the military hospital served where the current hospital is located. In 1948, when the Minister of Health of the time Dr. Behçet UZ wanted to build a health house in Foça and Selçuk, the existing building was built as a health house in this area where the current hospital is located. This health house in Foça has provided health services to the residents of Foça with different names such as Health House, Government Medical Office, Health Center and Central Health Center until 1995. The building, which was handled for maintenance and repair again in the 1990s, was officially opened as a hospital in August 1995. In time, the need for an additional building to the hospital arose and the lodging belonging to the adjacent health center joined the hospital in 1996, and this building was put into service in 1997 with the renovation and repair. With this additional, the number of beds was actually 15 while it was 25. A coronary intensive care unit was established. A generator was purchased, operating room equipment was modernized, ward and polyclinic services were modernized. Partially Computer Automation has been switched, the laboratory is equipped with the most modern tools and equipment. Equipments were completed in Maternity and Child Services. In 1998, a modern dialysis unit was established and put into service of people of Foça. Emergency Service at the hospital is provided 24 hours a day.Polyclinics serve every day in certain branches and on certain days of the week in some branches. Currently, polyclinic services are regularly provided in the branches of General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, Gynecology and Dental.
