Didim Public Hospital

The long-lasting construction started was completed in late 2001. The hospital was officially put into service in 2002. Health services in Didim have been provided at the Central Health Center and Altınkum Health Centers until 2002. After opening of the hospital, a significant portion of the general practitioner and assistant health personnel of the Public Hospital was composed of the personnel appointed from these institutions. During the opening period, the furnishing of our hospital was provided by the Hospital Construction and Sustenance Association, which organized the contributions of the people of Didim.

The 4-storey A4 section of the hospital, which also includes the emergency service and hemodialysis units, was put into service in 2005 by the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Atilla KOÇ. The institution, which has been continuously improving since the day it was opened, is trying to provide the best service to local and foreign tourists living in Didim and visiting the district by improving the corporate culture within the scope of the Health Transformation Program implemented by the Ministry.

The main mission of Didim Public Hospital is to provide safe, friendly health services that increase the quality of life of the society. Didim Public Hospital aims to be the exemplary hospital of the Aegean Region, which is reliable, primarily preferred, serving at international standards with its level of excellence in medical services, determination to increase the satisfaction of patients and their relatives and total quality understanding.

Didim State Hospital blazed a trail among public hospitals in Aydın by putting into service within its system, which is located in only 18 hospitals across the country and enables data to be viewed in a digital environment. The purpose of integrating the system, called the Electronic Medical Health Record Adaptation Model (HIMSS EMRAM), to the hospitals is using technology to increase patient safety and health care quality.
