The Main Campus:

The Main Campus is the campus established in Besevler. The main campus has the distinction of being one of Turkey’s first academic campus. In the campus, there are Gazi University Rectorate, which is the work of architect Kemaleddin, and many educational units, administrative units, sports facilities and social facilities established around the building. Gazi University has rich facilities where sports activities can be held under the guidance of educators specialized in their fields. There are 9 fully equipped outdoor and 12 indoor gyms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, football, volleyball, basketball courts, tennis courts, fitness and aerobics halls. WiFi connection, which can be used free of charge throughout the campus, is open to the service of students, academicians and administrative staff.

Accommodation:

There are 3 different accommodation options for university students. Students can prefer rent a flat. Students studying at Gazi University usually stay in Gazi District, Bahcelievler, Emek, Tandogan, Maltepe, Demirtepe, Kurtulus and Cebeci districts. Gazi District is within walking distance to the main campus and Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.

The most affordable accommodation choice is to stay in the dormitory. It is possible to stay in a state dormitory. Also, There are dozens of private dormitories for girls and boys around Gazi University.

Transportation:

There are currently 20 universities in Ankara, including state and foundation. Gazi University campuses, established in 1926, are located on the metro route. Therefore, the students do not have any transportation problems.

Prep. School:

The University School of Foreign Languages was established in 2006. It is located in Golbasi. The university offers 4 different foreign languages to its students: English, German, Arabic, French. It has a strong academic staff that has knowledge, skills and experience in the field and follows new methods and approaches in foreign language teaching in the developing and changing world.

The Library:

The Central Library offers the opportunity to benefit from the library services provided that its  students and academic and administrative staff are members. In addition, due to the lack of physical space, users are not accepted except for academic staff of other universities and library protocol users.
