The US Geological Survey stated that the situation could change at any time. The center raised the warning volume of the volcano to the highest level. However, emergency officials on the volcano, which erupted around 23.30, say that there are no evacuation orders and residential areas are unlikely to be affected.
Located in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Mauna Loa covers half of the Big Island of the USA. The volcano, on the other hand, rises 13,679ft (4,169m) above sea level. It also spans over 2,000 square miles. According to the information that came with all this, aftershocks occurred after the big bang. Health officials said Hawaii’s air quality is being monitored and is in progress for now.
The Hawaii Emergency Management Agency has opened two shelters on the island as a precaution. However, it is known that lava does not threaten the settlement. The volcano, which last erupted in March and April 1984, sent a lava flow 8.05 km from Hilo, the largest city on the island.
