Jellyfish Invasion in the Bosphorus

The density of jellyfish caught on cameras on the Sarıyer coast of the Bosphorus was also viewed underwater off the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Bosphorus was faced with a jellyfish invasion. The density of jellyfish was visualized at different points.

It is stated that jellyfish are more common in areas where sea pollution increases.

Isa Şahintürk, who is free-diving underwater and viewing underwater life, stated that there is such a density of jellyfish under water from time to time.

Şahintürk said, “I think the density of jellyfish is higher this year compared to previous years. We know that the number of jellyfish is higher at points where sea pollution increases.”
