Japanese Disaster Team arrived in Turkey
Turkey has called for international assistance after two major earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş. After many countries announced that they would send aid in a short time, Japan’s International Emergency Rescue Team came to the country to participate in the work.
Earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.6, affecting 10 provinces in Kahramanmaraş, also caused great losses in our country. Making a statement after the earthquake, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu said, “An earthquake occurred on the fault at around 04:17 in Kahramanmaraş Pazarcık. Its magnitude is 7.4. We are currently trying to evaluate the effects of the earthquake with all our friends and colleagues. We have mobilized our governors and search and rescue teams. All our units have been put on alert. “There have been 6 out of 6 earthquakes so far, the biggest is 6.6. All our teams are on alert. We’ve sent a level four warning. “This is a warning that includes international aid,” he said.

While many countries announced that they would help Turkey, the teams that came to our country expressed their condolences to Turkey by announcing that Japan would send an International Emergency Rescue Team to the earthquake zone.
ANNOUNCED THAT IT WILL SEND A TEAM OF 15 PEOPLE
The Japanese Embassy in Ankara made a written statement regarding the sending of the 3-person leader team of the Japan International Emergency Rescue Team and the 15-person rescue team to Turkey. It is stated that the plane, which is planned to be sent from Japan today, will take off from Haneda Airport and reach Adana via Istanbul.
