Take-Two has announced that it hopes to generate a record $8 billion in revenue in the coming fiscal year by launching several groundbreaking games that will set new standards in the industry. It should be noted that the period in question covers the period between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025.
Only one game can reach this revenue target
Although GTA is not explicitly mentioned in the report, it is hard to imagine any other series that could provide the company with such impressive results. It should be noted that Take-Two generated record revenue of $5.3 billion last fiscal year. This figure has been reached thanks to the contributions of Zynga.
The publisher’s regular annual net income hovers around $3 billion. Therefore, in order for Take-Two to reach its targeted figures, it will have to make important purchases, almost double the games it has released in the past, or launch the long-awaited GTA 6 by the fans of the series.
