Fortnite Returns to iOS
As it is known, Apple and Google want their own payment systems to be used for purchases for the application. Epic Games, on the other hand, started a war with this limited payment policy and added an alternative payment system to Fortnite. However, this decision resulted in the removal of Fortnite from iOS and Android platforms.
Tim Sweeney, who recently shared on his official Twitter account, gave a short tweet with the statement “Next year on iOS!”. In addition, Sweeney added a Fortnite image pointing to the year 2023 just below this message.
While the official did not elaborate on the details of the new development, this points to a major compromise between Apple and Epic Games. However, considering that the case is in the appeal process, users may have to wait for a while.
