Cappadocia History Projected On Fairy Chimneys With 3d Mapping Technology

Within the scope of the "International Museum Day" event in Nevşehir, a 3D Mapping show was presented.

In the event organized in Zelve Ruins, one of the important tourism centers in Cappadocia, an image was projected on fairy chimneys covering an area of 12 thousand square meters with 3D Mapping technology.

Images depicting the formation of fairy chimneys in Cappadocia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the civilizations that left their mark on the region were watched with interest.

The program was attended by residents of the city, as well as disaster victims from the provinces affected by the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6.

Kıvanç Uz, one of those who watched the show, which lasted about 30 minutes, told reporters that he enjoyed watching the past of Cappadocia with a different presentation and said, “It was nice to watch Cappadocia and fairy chimneys with such a beautiful expression. We also saw the ancient civilizations that lived here.”

Nehir Turan stated that the images projected on a large area were impressive and said, “It is much more memorable to show and visualize a place instead of describing it. It was enjoyable to watch in such an atmosphere.”
