Boris Johnson: “PutinThreatened Me with Missile Attack”

The former British Prime Minister claimed in a phone call with the Russian leader that they were threatened with a missile attack.

Boris Johnson came to the fore with the support he gave to the Kyiv administration against Russia when he was the British Prime Minister.

Johnson shared the details of his long phone conversation with pre-war Russian President Vladimir Putin during his term as prime minister.

Speaking to the BBC, Johnson stated that he told Putin that the war would end in absolute disaster.

The British politician said that the Russian leader, who opposes Ukraine’s NATO membership, said that he could hit Britain in a short time with a missile attack.

He told me, ‘Boris, you are saying that Ukraine will not join NATO anytime soon. Nor will I join ‘NATO’ in the foreseeable future. I said, ‘You know that very well. He kind of threatened me and said: ‘You know, I don’t want to offend you, but with a missile it’ll take a minute.’

Johnson’s Sanctions and Military Alert

Boris Johnson also noted that he warned Putin that invading Ukraine would lead to Western sanctions and more NATO troops on Russia’s borders.

On the other hand, British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace spoke about his visit to Moscow to prevent war.
