Big Discount on Fuel!
Last week, after the discount on fuel, another big discount came. As of midnight tonight, the liter price of diesel has decreased by 1 lira and 2 cents. After the discount, the price of diesel decreased to 22 liras.
The volatility in fuel prices continues depending on the changes in oil prices and dollar exchange rates. After a double discount of 60 cents each on diesel and gasoline on January 27, the price fell once again. As of midnight tonight, 1 lira and 2 cents discount came to diesel.
HOW MANY LIRA WAS THE MOTOR LITER?
After the price change, the liter of diesel decreased from 22 liras to 50 cents in Istanbul, from 22 liras to 77 cents in Ankara, and from 22 liras to 82 cents in Izmir.
FUEL PRICE IS CONTINUOUSLY CHANGING
Gasoline was increased by 67 cents on January 17, by 1 lira for diesel on January 18, and by 1 lira by 25 cents for gasoline on January 25. On January 27, 60 cents discount came to gasoline and diesel.
HOW ARE FUEL PRICES CALCULATED?
When calculating gasoline and diesel prices in Turkey; With the addition of SCT and EMRA share to the duty-free refinery price, there is the Refinery sales price excluding VAT. While calculating the Duty-Free Refinery Price, the daily CIF Mediterranean product prices published in the Mediterranean-Italian market and the daily dollar rate are followed, and the duty-free refinery ceiling sales price is obtained over a certain price change difference.

After EMRA filed a criminal complaint against EPGIS, the only union that announced the price change, the union announced that it would not share the fuel price changes with the citizens until the case is concluded.
