Asus, one of the first names that come to mind when it comes to gaming-oriented smartphones, introduced its new flagship phones Asus ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Asus ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate features
Asus’ new gamer phones ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display on the front that offers 1080 x 2448 pixel resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. In addition, both models are accompanied by HDR10+, 1500 nits peak brightness and 720Hz touch sampling rate.
ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage for demanding games and tasks. However, the phones paired with 16GB RAM and 256/512GB storage capacity are backed by Gorilla Glass Victus when it comes to durability. It also has IP54 certification.
Like previous generation ROG phones, the ROG Phone 7 family is powered by a 6,000mAh battery with 65W charging (two 3,000mAh batteries to improve cooling) under the hood. So what are the differences between the Ultimate and the basic version? ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes with an AeroActive cooler that lets air flow directly into the built-in vapor chamber, and the iconic 2-inch ROG Vision display on the back.
Coming to the camera section, the Asus ROG Phone 7 series has a triple rear camera consisting of a 50MP (Sony IMX766.1/1.56″, 1.0µm, PDAF) main camera, 13MP (f/2.2, 120˚) ultra-wide and 5MP (f/2.0) macro sensors. an installation welcomes us. ROG Phone 7 series is available to order in Europe and Taiwan as of today. The price of the Asus ROG Phone 7 starts at 999 euros, but there is no AeroActive cooler in the box. (Separately 110 Euros), ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has a price tag of 1,399 Euros, including the cooler.
