Arnavutkoy – the most delicious district of Istanbul

Arriving in Istanbul, you will probably be recommended to visit the well-known Sultanahmet, Taksim and other historical districts, but few people will advise you the Arnavutkoy district. However, we can safely call it the place of Istanbul, where you definitely need to go even on the shortest trip. The area is really delicious! Arnavutkoy is located near the center, you can walk 9 km from Taksim or take a bus for 30 minutes. You may initially get confused on the map, because there are 2 districts named Arnavutkoy, but we are talking about the part that is located near the Bebek district. The other part is very far from the center of Istanbul and is not something remarkable.

When you first step into the Arnavutkoy area, you will definitely be inspired and enjoy the bright atmosphere of the area, colorful and unusual houses decorate the area at every step, on the other hand an incredible view of the Bosphorus and the Asian part of Istanbul. Arnavutkoy is surrounded by a stunning embankment with many yachts that you just want to jump on and go on a trip. Going deep into the area, you will find a completely different style of Istanbul: bright and not standard houses, decorated coffee shops, many galleries and hand-made shops. It is impossible not to love this area!

Cute, cozy and with its own personal charm, Arnavutkoy is worth visiting at least once to see a different Istanbul.
