Social İnsurance institution Antalya Regional Hospital was put into service on 20.11.1968 with 5 floors (including the ground floor) and a capacity of 120 beds. However, due to the increase in the number of social insurance institution-guaranteed patients over time, the bed capacity of 200 was increased. Later, the additional service building vacated by the Antalya SSK Directorate was arranged as a Polyclinic building and was opened by the Minister of Labor and Social Security on February 12, 1994, and with the transfer of Child Service and 26 polyclinic rooms to this building, the bed capacity of the hospital was increased to 280 beds and continued to serve. Hemodialysis Unit was opened on 07.02.1995 and started to serve with 5 machines. It continues to serve with a total of 14 machines, 12 in Dialysis Unit and 2 in Intensive Care. B Block Hospital building was completed in 1998. Emergency Service was opened on 01.09.1998, and a 13-storey (including the ground floor) 360-bed-capacity department was opened on 06.12.1998. Social insurance institution Antalya Hospital, which was transferred to the Ministry of Health on 19.02.2005, was named Antalya Atatürk State Hospital. Patient rooms for 6 people were reduced to 4 and service continued with 502 beds. The prefabricated polyclinic building has been added to increase the number of polyclinics to 102. The hospital has gained modern diagnosis and treatment facilities with newly opened service, units and maintenance-repair departments in the last 3 years. Hüseyin Savaş District Polyclinic was opened in the district of Döşemealtı. 24-hour Emergency Service is provided in Hüseyin Savaş District Polyclinic. In addition, polyclinic services are provided in other branches.
