Announcement of Mobilization in Moldova after Russia

As the Russia-Ukraine war continues, new news continues to come from the region. A mobilization statement came from another country. Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatiy said that if the conflicts in Ukraine turn towards Moldovan borders, mobilization can be declared.

The military intervention launched by Russia on Ukraine on February 24 continues. Russian President Putin decided to mobilize partial mobilization in the ongoing war. After this decision, the Russians found the solution to go to other countries for fear of the expansion of the mobilization. After these developments, a mobilization statement came from another country. Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatiy said that if the conflicts in Ukraine turn towards Moldovan borders, mobilization can be declared.

“IF CONFLICTS DIRECT TO OUR BORDERS…”

Moldovan Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatiy made statements about the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine in an interview with TVR Moldova.

Noting that some Russian missiles launched against Ukraine passed over Moldovan territory, Nosatiy said that there is no guarantee that this will happen again, and therefore they requested support from Western partners, NATO and Romania on security issues.

Answering the question whether mobilization will be declared in Moldova, Nosatiy said:

“For this scenario to happen, serious changes need to occur on the front in Ukraine. For example, this will happen if the conflicts move towards our borders, if there are changes in immigration from Ukraine to our country, or if we notice the mobilization of military units in the war zone. Of course, in this case, certain measures will be taken to react. We’ll have to get it.”

“NEEDED MEASURES WILL BE TAKEN”

Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced on 17 October that necessary measures would be taken if Russia interfered with Moldova’s sovereignty and security.
