Today we want to tell you about a place that not everyone knows, but which is worth visiting for all tourists. Miniature Park was opened in 2003 and is still a very popular place. The park is the largest such exhibition in the world, where small copies of the most famous sights that Turkey is famous for are presented. The park is located in Istanbul, in the Sütlüce district.
The slogan of the exhibition is “A small model of a big country”, which truly reflects the very essence of the park. You can view mini-versions of bridges, mosques, palaces and other historical objects in great detail. It will even be interesting to visit the park for people who have been to Istanbul many times, because there are objects not only dedicated to Istanbul, but also to other cities of Turkey.
The park occupies a very large area, namely 6 hectares, which made it possible to install all the amenities on the territory: car parking, many cafes for children and adults, a recreation area and of course the exhibition itself.
We have divided the park into 2 parts: Istanbul in miniature and another part of Turkey. The park features such structures as the Hagia Sophia Mosque and the Blue Mosque, the Bosphorus Bridge, the Kemal Ataturk Airport and a huge stadium. Of course, you will see a lot more interesting expositions in the park, but we will not reveal the whole secret, as we advise you to visit it live.
The ticket price is 50 Turkish lira. When buying a ticket, be sure to choose the language you speak, because you can read information in the right language for each object. It is enough just to show the barcode.
