Chinese scientists made a very important discovery in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Southern China. Scientists, who have been eyeing a cave in the region for a long time, decided to enter the cave in the previous days after months of work.
THEY FOUND AN OLD FOREST
Scientists have discovered a forest that no one has entered before, inside the cave they call the “Big Sinkhole”. Scientists who conducted an investigation on the forest stated that the region is a natural wonder.

Commenting on the forest, “It’s great, everyone should see this place”, scientists also commented on the importance of the discovery. “I would not be surprised to find species in these caves that have never been reported or described by science until now,” expedition team leader Chen Lixin told Xinhua News Agency.
NEW SPECIES TO BE RESEARCHED
30 sinkholes were found in the cave, which is 306 meters long and 150 meters wide. The area has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Scientists’ new goal is to find new species in the forest that have not been detected before.
