88 Million Euros Aid Collected For Earthquake Victims In Turkey In The Netherlands!

GIRO555, which collected 175 million euros for Ukraine in 2022, raised 88 million euros in the National Aid Campaign it launched for Turkey and Syria. Earthquake Victim Karsu made everyone cry.

The National Aid Campaign initiated by GİRO555 in the Netherlands for the benefit of earthquake victims has been concluded. As a result of the joint broadcast of the radio and television in the country, 88 million 921 thousand 469 euros were collected. In the two-hour live broadcast on Dutch television, images from the earthquake area and relief efforts in the Netherlands were included.

KARSU LIVES EMOTIONAL MOMENTS

Musician Karsu Dönmez, who lost 16 relatives in Hatay, said in a live broadcast of Neşet Ertaş, “My heart is always looking for you, where are you?” sang the song.

When Karsu could not reach the phone of her cousin who lost her life in the earthquake, “Where are you?” He said he left a voicemail. That’s why he said he went this way in memory of his cousin and those who were lost in the earthquake.

At the event, nearly 200 famous Dutch people collected donations over the phone. One of them was Günay Uslu, Minister of State for Culture and Media.

Uslu said that he talked to many people, including a 90-year-old who had lived through World War II, and a Bosnian and Herzegovinian who lived through the war in his country, when he received donations over the phone.
