87 Irregular Migrants Rescued in Marmaris

87 irregular migrants were rescued off the coast of Marmaris district of Mugla.
According to the statement made by the Coast Guard Command, a Coast Guard boat was directed to the region after the information that irregular migrants were in rubber boats and life rafts at different times off the coast of Marmaris.

The teams took 38 foreign nationals, who were pushed into Turkish territorial waters by the Greek elements, on the Coast Guard boat and landed them.

In addition, the sailing boat in motion, which was detected by the TCSG 310 boat, which was commissioned upon the information that there was a group of irregular immigrants in the sailing boat off the coast of Marmaris, was stopped and 49 irregular immigrants were caught.

Irregular migrants landed were handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after their procedures.
