63 New Researchers Are Coming to Turkey With the Reverse Brain Drain Program

In her speech at the meeting she attended, Minister Mustafa Varank stated that 63 new researchers came to Turkey with the Reverse Brain Drain Program.

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank, who participated in the “Horizon Europe Opening Entente” of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK)  , gave information about research and collaborations in his speech.

Minister Varank announced the results of the second call of the National, International Leader and Young Researchers Program, also known as the brain drain to Turkey.

Minister Varank, stating that qualified manpower was invited to Turkey and participation was ensured, explained the latest developments in this regard ,  “Within the scope of TÜBİTAK’s International Leader and Young Researchers Programs, 63 new researchers, 47 of whom are Turkish, are coming to Turkey with the Reverse Brain Drain Program. . 27 senior researchers from 9 countries (USA, Germany, Austria, UK, China, France, Sweden, Japan, Russia) will attend 21 different universities and research centers in our country.Health sciences, social and human sciences, technical sciences and basic They will continue their studies in the fields of sciences in Turkey.” explained as.

Minister Varank stated at the TÜBİTAK meeting that the work done during the coronavirus epidemic and the European Union (EU) process, the industrial sector fully fulfilled its commitments to EU countries. Varank stated that they took commercial relations to the next level during the coronavirus epidemic.
